This JD is primarily for a Technical Writer / Technical Content Specialist with strong API/SDK documentation experience, ideally combined with exposure to PDF/document editing or Print & Scan products.  User Guides, Information Architecture, Content Governance, PDF, Acrobat

JD:-

Document the Adobe PPBU product’s APIs, SDKs, platform architecture, and user interfaces. Work with engineers and leadership teams covering a broad range of solutions to ensure quality deliverables, including help systems, release notes, and SDKs. Author according to the Print and Scan product’s styles and processes. Localize content as appropriate. Develop expertise in Print and Scan products. Engage in research and regular interaction with subject matter experts such as developers, product managers, and program managers. Hold regular content reviews with SMEs, and meet frequent, critical deadlines. Any experience with editing tools: Adobe Acrobat, Foxit, PDFelement, Nitro, Apple Preview, Sejda, ILovePDF, SmallPDF, Canva, etc. Defines and delivers content for Adobe products & services across multiple user touchpoints — web, in-app, community, social and more. Gains domain expertise and uses it to help Adobe users feel empowered to learn our products and self-solve troubleshooting issues. Understands industry trends & influences our content life cycle, information architecture, competitive analysis, test & experimentation. Collaborate with product partners, marketing, content strategists, visual designers, & so on to create clear and concise content across multiple user touchpoints. Establishes success measures and creates project plans. Monitors and adjusts execution strategy to achieve success measures. 4-8 years of content creation and governance experience. Takes ownership of work assignment and works with minimal supervision.
