We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Designer to join our pharmaceutical machinery manufacturing company. As a Senior Designer, you will play a key role in the design and development of machinery and equipment used in pharmaceutical production processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry, and will be capable of leading design projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities:

·        Lead the design and development of pharmaceutical machinery and equipment, from conceptualization through detailed design and implementation.

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to define project requirements and specifications.

·        Utilize CAD software (e.g., Solid Edge, AutoCAD) to create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and drawings of machinery components and systems.

·        Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate design concepts and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.

·        Perform engineering calculations and analyses to validate design concepts and optimize performance, reliability, and manufacturability.

·        Generate bills of materials (BOMs) and manufacturing documentation to support prototype fabrication, assembly, and testing.

·        Lead design reviews and provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior designers and engineers.

·        Work closely with suppliers and vendors to select and source materials, components, and subsystems for incorporation into designs.

·        Participate in prototype testing and validation activities, analyzing test results and implementing design modifications as necessary.

·        Support product launch activities, including documentation updates, training, and technical support for manufacturing and service teams.

Requirements:

·        Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

·        Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical design, with a focus on machinery and equipment for the pharmaceutical industry.

·        Proficiency in CAD software, with experience creating 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings.

·        Strong understanding of engineering principles and design fundamentals, including materials selection, tolerance analysis, and GD&T.

·        Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards applicable to pharmaceutical machinery design (e.g., cGMP, FDA guidelines).

·        Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles, optimizing designs for cost-effective production.

·        Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions to complex design challenges.

·        Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

·        Strong project management skills, with experience leading design projects and coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders.

·        Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work and delivering projects on time and within budget.
