Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Review tender documents and prepare technical proposals as per client specifications (STP, ETP, WTP, Softener, RO, UF systems).
- Perform detailed process design and equipment selection using mass balance, flow rate analysis, valve sizing, blower, and pump selection.
- Understand client requirements and finalize the most suitable treatment scheme based on end-use and desired water quality.
- Prepare BOQs for piping, valves, and mechanical equipment, and assist in system costing.
- Respond to technical queries related to tenders, proposals, budgets, and system estimates.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation including PFDs, P&IDs, GA drawings, equipment layouts, and plant layouts.
- Develop turnover packages (BEP) post-contract award and coordinate transition to execution teams.
- Monitor site erection activities and ensure timely completion of project milestones.
- Plan and support commissioning of STP/ETP systems, ensuring adherence to schedules.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during commissioning and during the AMC phase.
- Guide site teams on proper aerobic and anaerobic treatment setups.
- Prepare mechanical and civil GA drawings along with job completion schedules.
- Compile O&M manuals, gather test certificates, and manage project compliance documentation.
- Handle consent-related work with MPCB, including form submissions and authority coordination.
- Identify and develop vendors; stay updated on emerging technologies.
- Liaise with vendors, consultants, and internal O&M teams to ensure smooth project execution.
