Your Role and Responsibilities
EDGE Team is seeking Quality Assurance Engineer with ability to collaborate effectively with inter-disciplinary teams and management. Should be a Motivated self-starter, with a high capacity for rapid learning and meticulous attention to detail.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead testing effort for complex features which includes designing test scenarios, creating test plans, implementing, automating and executing test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
• Work effectively in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 6yrs+ experience as QA and knack for identifying tests that break code.
- Strong grasp of operating systems concepts including filesystems, networks, and memory management.
- Good understanding and experience testing restful APIs.
- Solid grasp of Git, Containers and Kubernetes concepts.
- Must be able to demonstrate good understanding of database fundamentals and SQL Programming.
- Experience in object oriented development concepts.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
