Senior DevOps Engineer
Job Description
As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Tattva Techworkz Pvt Ltd, you will be the backbone of our infrastructure reliability, scalability, and deployment automation. You will design, build, and maintain the secure cloud environments that power our enterprise-grade SaaS and educational technology products.
Working closely with Backend Developers, Tech Leads, and Product Managers, you will bridge the gap between code development and system operations. Your primary focus will be optimizing our CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure as code (IaC), and ensuring high availability and zero-downtime deployments for our fast-evolving digital platforms.
Key ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure Automation (IaC): Design, provision, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using modern Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
CI/CD Pipeline Management: Build, optimize, and maintain robust continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to ensure rapid, secure, and automated software delivery.
Containerization & Orchestration: Manage containerized environments utilizing Docker and orchestrate them seamlessly with Kubernetes or cloud-native container services.
Monitoring & Observability: Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or cloud-native monitoring tools) to proactively identify performance bottlenecks and ensure maximum uptime.
Security & Compliance: Enforce industry-standard security practices across cloud configurations, network architecture, and access management (IAM), protecting sensitive educational and SaaS data.
Performance Tuning & Cost Optimization: Continuous evaluation of cloud resource utilization to optimize infrastructure performance while ruthlessly managing and reducing cloud expenditure.
Disaster Recovery & On-Call Support: Define, test, and implement automated backup strategies, failover mechanisms, and disaster recovery protocols.
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of dedicated professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Operations.
Cloud Architecture: Deep expertise in managing major cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure, or GCP) with a strong grasp of networking, VPCs, load balancers, and security groups.
Automation & Scripting: Strong proficiency in scripting languages for automation (e.g., Python, Bash, or Go).
Configuration Management & IaC: Proven experience with Terraform and configuration tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
CI/CD Tools: Advanced hands-on experience with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Bitbucket Pipelines.
System Administration: Solid understanding of Linux/Unix system administration, fundamental networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL/TLS), and database management.
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical infrastructure realities clearly to engineering teams and leadership alike.
