Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Manager to lead the human resources function and drive HR strategy, policies, and practices aligned with our organizational goals. The ideal candidate will oversee core HR functions such as talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compliance, HR operations, and strategic workforce planning.

As a senior member of the leadership team, the Sr. HR Manager will play a crucial role in fostering a strong organizational culture, improving employee satisfaction, and supporting long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic HR Planning

  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company’s vision, mission, and objectives

  • Drive organizational development, change management, and workforce planning initiatives

  • Advise leadership on organizational structure, succession planning, and leadership development

2. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes for mid to senior-level roles

  • Collaborate with department heads to forecast hiring needs and attract top talent

  • Enhance employer branding strategies to attract and retain high-quality candidates

  • Ensure a smooth onboarding and orientation process for new hires

3. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, conflict resolution, and grievance handling

  • Design and implement employee engagement programs and retention strategies

  • Conduct regular one-on-ones, skip-level meetings, and feedback sessions

  • Drive initiatives for employee satisfaction, workplace culture, and team-building

4. Performance Management & Development

  • Implement and manage performance appraisal systems (e.g., OKRs, KPIs, 360 reviews)

  • Support managers in conducting performance reviews and setting development goals

  • Identify training needs and develop L&D programs in collaboration with leadership

  • Build career paths and internal mobility frameworks

5. HR Policies & Compliance

  • Develop, update, and implement HR policies and SOPs in line with industry best practices

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and statutory requirements (PF, ESI, gratuity, etc.)

  • Handle disciplinary procedures, terminations, and exit processes in a compliant manner

  • Maintain and audit employee records, contracts, and documentation

6. HR Operations & Technology

  • Oversee HR operations, payroll inputs, attendance, and HRMS maintenance

  • Ensure data accuracy, HR metrics tracking, and reporting to senior management

  • Automate manual processes where possible to improve efficiency

  • Handle vendor management for recruitment agencies, training firms, etc.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven leadership in HR with a strong understanding of HR operations and compliance

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong command over labor laws, HR analytics, and organizational development practices

  • Hands-on experience with HRMS platforms and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality
