Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Interior Designer with 2–3 years of experience to lead interior design projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in space planning, material selection, furniture design, and project management, combined with excellent client communication and presentation skills. This role involves working closely with clients, architects, vendors, and execution teams to deliver high-quality, aesthetically pleasing, and functional interior spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Concept Development & Space Planning

·       Lead the development of innovative and functional interior design concepts.

·       Conduct client consultations to understand their requirements, lifestyle, and brand identity.

·       Develop mood boards, design presentations, 3D visualizations, and sketches.

·       Ensure optimal space utilization, ergonomic design, and compliance with industry standards.

2. Design Execution & Project Coordination

·       Prepare and oversee the development of detailed AutoCAD drawings, elevations, and 3D renderings.

·       Work closely with architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure smooth execution.

·       Supervise on-site installations, furniture placements, and finishing work.

·       Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.

3. Client Interaction & Relationship Management

·       Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the design and execution process.

·       Present design concepts, material selections, and progress updates with clarity and confidence.

·       Handle client feedback, modifications, and approvals efficiently.

·       Build strong long-term relationships with high-end clients, corporate partners, and vendors.

4. Material Selection & Vendor Coordination

·       Curate and recommend high-quality materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and décor elements.

·       Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers for sourcing and procurement.

·       Maintain a well-organized material library and stay updated on new trends and products.

5. Budgeting & Cost Estimation

·       Prepare project cost estimates, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and budget plans.

·       Ensure that material and execution costs align with the client's budget and expectations.

·       Identify cost-effective solutions without compromising on design quality.

6. Team Leadership & Mentorship

·       Guide and mentor junior designers and interns, ensuring high design standards.

·       Conduct design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge-sharing workshops.

·       Ensure all team members adhere to project deadlines and company design guidelines.

7. Quality Control & Compliance

·       Ensure all designs meet quality standards, safety regulations, and building codes.

·       Conduct final inspections to verify finishing details, material consistency, and functionality.

·       Address on-site challenges and troubleshoot design execution issues effectively.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Educational Background:

·       Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

Experience:

·       2–3 years of experience in high-end residential, commercial, or hospitality interior design.

Technical & Soft Skills:

·       Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Revit, Photoshop, and MS Office.

·       Strong knowledge of space planning, furniture design, lighting, and material specifications.

·       Excellent communication, client handling, and negotiation skills.

·       Ability to present and justify design decisions professionally.

·       Strong problem-solving, project management, and leadership abilities.

·       Understanding of budget management and vendor negotiations.

·       Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
