Job Opening: Senior Interior Designer / Lead Designer

Experience: 3 - 7 years

Industry: Interior Design / Infrastructure

Note:

● Senior Interior Designer: 3 - 4 years of relevant corporate experience

● Lead Designer: 4.5 to 7 years of experience from corporate/ non-corporate experience

● Work Schedule: Tuesday to Sunday (Monday is the weekly off).

● Work Location: Experience Centre & Office – OMR, Perungudi.

● Work Mode: Permanent Work from Office.

● Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

● Requirement: Candidates must have their own laptop.

 

Role Summary: The Lead Designer/ Senior Interior Designer- premium interiors client-facing role responsible for managing assigned leads, driving sales closures, and leading the end-to-end design journey for residential interior projects. The role involves understanding client requirements, creating functional and aesthetically appealing design solutions, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from consultation to project handover.

 

Key Responsibilities:

● Own assigned residential interior leads from initial client consultation through design sign-off and sales closure.

● Convert assigned qualified leads into confirmed bookings by effectively understanding client needs and presenting suitable design solutions.

● Achieve monthly sales targets with guidance and support from the reporting manager.

● Understand client requirements, budget, and preferences to develop tailored interior design solutions.

● Develop and present design concepts, layouts, material selections, and quotations aligned with client expectations and budget.

● Prepare layouts, 3D views, and working drawings with a strong focus on design accuracy and execution feasibility.

● Lead clients through the complete design journey, ensuring timely follow-ups, design revisions, approvals, and a seamless customer experience.

● Drive sales closures by building trust, addressing client concerns, and presenting compelling design proposals.

● Collaborate closely with the Business Lead and internal teams to ensure clear project documentation and a smooth handover to the execution team after design sign-off.

● Maintain high design standards, process discipline, and effective communication throughout thecustomer journey.

● Demonstrate proficiency in SketchUp, SketchUp Layout, V-Ray, and Enscape.

● Be proficient in, or demonstrate a willingness to learn and effectively implement, AI-powered tools and technologies in the interior design process.

 

 

Required Skills & Competencies:

● Experience in residential interior design projects.

● Strong knowledge of space planning, materials, finishes, and modular interiors.

● Excellent client communication, presentation, and sales skills.

● Ability to convert qualified leads into bookings.

● Comfortable working in a target-driven, fast-paced environment.

● High ownership, discipline, and process orientation.

● Proficiency in SketchUp, SketchUp Layout, V-Ray, and Enscape.

● Willingness to learn and adopt AI-powered and cloud-based design tools.
