Responsibilities:
- Lead the full development lifecycle of web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js), from design to deployment.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience as a full-stack MERN developer, with leadership experience in managing teams or projects.
- Advanced JavaScript and TypeScript skills, with an in-depth understanding of the JavaScript object model, DOM manipulation, and asynchronous programming.
- Proven expertise with Node.js and Express.js for building efficient, secure, and scalable server-side applications.
- Strong experience with MongoDB, including data modeling, indexing, and performance optimization.
- Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs; familiarity with GraphQL is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of front-end technologies, especially React.js, including state management with Redux, Context API, or similar tools.
- Hands-on experience with Webpack, Babel, and other front-end build tools to optimize development workflows.
- Experience in real-time applications development using WebSockets and WebHooks.
- Practical experience in deploying and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with knowledge of load balancing, auto-scaling, and monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration systems like Kubernetes, particularly in setting up CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices for automation, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code.
- UI/UX Design Frameworks experience, particularly with Material-UI, Ant Design, or similar component libraries.
- Strong knowledge of security best practices, including authentication/authorization (OAuth, JWT), and encryption techniques.
- Solid understanding of performance optimization techniques such as caching strategies, lazy loading, and database optimization.
- Experience working with Agile or Scrum methodologies, and proficient with project management tools like Jira or Trello.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance quick fixes with long-term solutions.
- Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills, with a proactive approach to mentoring junior developers and improving team dynamics.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with GraphQL for API development and querying.
- Familiarity with Docker Swarm or other container orchestration tools.
- Knowledge of serverless architectures and related services such as AWS Lambda or Google Cloud Functions.
- Hands-on experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress for ensuring code quality and reliability.
- Experience with modern front-end patterns like SSR (Server-Side Rendering) and Next.js or Gatsby frameworks.
- Architect, design, and implement highly scalable, secure, and efficient RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless integration with front-end systems.
- Drive the development of responsive and cross-platform applications that perform consistently on desktop and mobile devices.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and ensure technical solutions align with business objectives.
- Implement and maintain best practices in development, including code quality, testing, performance optimization, and security.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, conducting code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards, and promoting continuous improvement.
- Lead efforts to optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability, including implementing caching, database optimization, and server-side tuning.
- Manage version control systems using Git, overseeing branching strategies, pull requests, and resolving merge conflicts.
- Drive adoption of cloud-based infrastructure, implementing solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for hosting, scaling, and automation.
- Participate in DevOps processes, leading CI/CD pipeline implementation, ensuring smooth and automated deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
