• Senior PHP Engineer must be people focused professional who will be responsible to support, cooperate team members and follow all the procedures and insights given by the project manager. 
  
• S/he should be comfortable on taking ownership of projects and processes, and also be able to work closely with process owners to drive projects from conception to completion. 
  
• With deep understanding of PHP development, database modeling and design, and scalable web architectures, s/he should be able to create libraries, whole features from scratch and also be able to use frameworks and open source efficiently.

JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Research, design, and develop high quality software systems.
  
• Analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
  
• Develop and direct software system technical design procedures, programming and documentation.
  
• Create technical design documentation for software changes and development.
  
• Develop robust web applications from the database layer to the service layer to the front end, depending on skills
  
• Take ownership of projects from start to finish, working with process owners to deliver requirements on target and schedule.
  
• Be responsible for the quality of your code with thoughtful design, unit testing and automated functional testing.
  
• Focus on usability throughout the stack, from maintainable code through end-user UX. Participate in and contribute to peer code reviews
  
• Pro-actively seek out and help us minimize pain points within our infrastructure and code base.
  
• Interact with customers concerning the technical design and development of software applications and modifications.
  
• Contribute to the development of project estimates, scheduling and deliverables.
  
• Conduct code reviews for system modifications and development.
  
• Establish/maintain effective team communications to ensure client requirements are met.
  
• Keep management team apprised of work progress and is proactive in communicating any concerns or opportunities for better project delivery.
  
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  

KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

• 4-5 yrs of extensive experience in a complex application development, implementation and support environment.
  
• Ability to provide design and coding leadership, and intelligent problem-solving, in a team environment.
  
• Demonstrate efficiency in application analysis, design, development and deployment
  
• Expert in relational DBMS technologies
  
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  
• Demonstrated customer service skills and focus.
  
• Knowledge of systems design and software development techniques in object oriented (OOPS) methodologies and technology would be highly regarded.
  
• Expert in PHP YII framework.
