Recruitment for the post of “Senior Project Associate” under funded project
Name of the project : Biodiversity inventory in specific forests and habitats of the Eastern Ghats Description: The project aims to document biodiversity, particularly within small mammals and birds, in specific locations of the Eastern Ghats forest regions around Tirupati.
The candidate should have a minimum of three years of experience in the field of wildlife research, and must be wellversed with the following: GIS skills, bird surveys, small mammal surveys, small mammal trapping and handling, analysis of data, report writing.
Minimum qualifications: Master’s degree in Natural Science (preferably in Wildlife Sciences) with minimum 60% marks or Equivalent grade.

Desirable:
Candidates having experience with small mammal identification, ability to
do field work in tough terrain, GIS based analyses, bird surveys, small
mammal trapping and handling, analysis of data, report writing.
Fellowship : Candidates who have qualified any of the national level tests like
CSIR / UGC – NET / GATE etc. with valid score in score card are
eligible for remuneration of Rs. 42000/- + 10% HRA per month
(Consolidated).
Others will be eligible for Rs.16,000/- + 10% HRA per month based
on their academic qualification.
