Senior Project Biologist/Junior Project Biologist Job Opportunity in WII
Project: “Assess Medicinal and Aromatic Plant (MAP) species including their collection, usage, demand, markets, price trends and life cycle, focusing on SECURE Himalaya landscapes in selected areas of Himachal Pradesh.
Senior Project Biologist/01 Post
Essential Qualification (EQ): Ph.D., in Wildlife Science / Botany / Forestry Environmental Science or Management or related subjects. (Candidates who have submitted their thesis are also eligible to apply). OR Post Graduate Degree in Wildlife Science /Zoology/ Botany / Forestry /Environmental Science or Management or related subjects with at least four years of research experience
Desirable Qualification (DQ): Experience in the Himalayan region, working with stakeholders, and proven abilities of writing skills
Location of Project sites: Himachal Pradesh
Age: Not exceeding 40 years as on the date of interview. Upper age limit in case of applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories may be relaxed as per the rules.
Emoluments: Rs 48,000/- month (Consolidated)
Junior Project Biologist/04 Post
Essential Qualification (EQ): M.Sc in Wildlife Science / Botany / Forestry Environmental Science or Management or related subjects.
Desirable Qualification (DQ): Experience in the Himalayan region, working with stakeholders, and proven abilities of writing skills
Age: Not exceeding 30 years as on the date of interview. Upper age limit in case of applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories may be relaxed as per the rules
Emoluments: Rs 30,000/- month (Consolidated)
