Senior Project Executive Officer recruitment in Indian Institute of Technology Bombay On Contract Basis

Essential Qualifications & Experience: B.Tech/M.Sc./MCA/M.Tech or equivalent with 20 Years of experience/Ph.D. or equivalent with 15 years of experience in the area of wireless communication and networking technology.
Experience in design and development of products, research/simulation platforms and test beds. Understanding of software development process / lifecycle and project management & planning skills.
Should have the capability to lead and provide guidance to team members and coordinate with different stakeholders of the project.
Software development and debugging skills in C/C++ on Linux environment.
Must have good understanding of 3GPP 5G & LTE standards and IEEE 802.11 WLAN standards. A good understanding of IEEE 802.22 WRAN standards is desirable. Understanding of concepts of Software Defined Networking (SDN), and Network Function Virtualization (NFV) and how these concepts are being applied to wireless networks.
Should have substantial experience of standard development activities under various
international/national standard development organizations (SDOs), e.g., IEEE, 3GPP, TSDSI and should be an active participant in standard development activities currently in the telecom domain. Capable of conducting collaborative research along with other research scholars of the department and coming up with innovative solutions for research and engineering problems as evidenced through publication of research papers/patents.
Should have experience of working in academic and research institutions as well as industrial environment.
