Senior Project Fellow Botany / Junior Project Fellow Job Opportunity At G. B. Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment and Sustainable Development 

1. Senior Project Fellow (SPF) (02)

Nature of duties / Project : HPSBB funded project " Preparation of Peoples’ Biodiversity Register of Selected Panchayats in Kullu and Mandi Districts, Himachal Pradesh" ‘
Qualification : First Class in M.Sc. with Botany/Forestry/Environmental Science/ Biotechnology/ Biosciences/Medicinal Plants from a recognized University and two years research experience. 
Desirable : Preference will be given to the candidate having at least two years research experience on Biodiversity Conservation, documentation skills and computer knowledge.

2. Junior Project Fellow (JPF) (01)

Nature of duties / Project : HPSBB funded project " Preparation of Peoples’ Biodiversity Register of Selected Panchayats in Kullu and Mandi Districts, Himachal Pradesh"
Qualification : First Class in M.Sc. with Botany/Forestry/Environmental Science/Biosciences/Biotechnology from a recognized University. Desirable : Preference will be given to the candidate with research experience on Biodiversity Conservation, documentation skills and computer knowledge

3. Junior Project Fellow (JPF) (01)

Nature of duties / Project : DEST (Govt. of HP) funded project: Springshed management: A Strategy for Climate Change Adaptation through Inventory and Revival of Springs 

Qualification : First Class Masters in Soil & Water Conservation/Hydrology/Water Resource Development & Management/ Civil/ Environmental Science/Environmental Engg./Geology/ Geography from recognized university

Desirable : Preference will be given to the candidates having research experience/ knowledge of water resource development and assessment works, climate change effect on watershed processes, hydrological simulation modeling, soil and water conservation etc.

Age Limit: Senior Project Fellows- 32 years, Junior Project Fellows - 28 years; and Data Entry Operator cum Field Assistant, and Field Assistant – 50 years

Emoluments: Senior Project Fellows, Rs 18,000 + Rs. 1,800/- HRA or 8% HRA fixed; Junior Project Fellow, Rs. 16,000/- + Rs. 1,800/- HRA or 8% HRA and *Junior Project Fellow, Rs. 15,000/- fixed; and Data Entry Operator cum Field Assistant, and Field Assistant Rs. 10,000/- pm fixed, each.
