Project :
“Population Assessment, Standardization of Propagation Protocols and Establishment (ex situ & in situ) of Selected Species as a Part of Biodiversity Conservation Plan under Sainj Hydro-Electric Project in Himachal Pradesh”

1. Senior Project Fellow

No. of Post : 01
Qualification : First Class in M.Sc. with Botany/Forestry/Environmental Science/Biotechnology and two years research experience Preference will be given to the candidates having at least two years research experience on Biotechnological Applications, Biodiversity Conservation, documentation skills and computer knowledge.

2. Field cum Lab Assistant

Qualification : Intermediate (10 + 2) from the recognized Board Preference will be given to the candidates having working experience in the laboratory and field on Biodiversity Conservation and Management

Project : “Anthropogenic impacts and their management options in different ecosystems of the Indian Himalayan Region”

3. Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/ Junior Project Fellow (JPF)

No. of Post : 01
Qualification : First Class Master’s Environmental Science / Geography / Physics/ Chemistry or any other allied subject at least with one year PG Diploma in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System (RS&GIS) or First Class Master’s Degree in RS&GIS or M. Tech. with first Class in RS & GIS from the recognized University Preference will be given to the candidate having adequate experience working in RS&GIS and interested working in high altitude and glacier regions.


4. Field Assistant (FA)

Project : “Rejuvenation of Springs and Spring-fed Streams in Mid Himalayan Basins using Spring Sanctuary Concept”
No. of Post : 01
Qualification : Graduation from the recognized University Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in working remote parts of the Himalayan regions and having strong interest and background in water sources works, field surveying, field equipment and Hydrologic instrumentation, hydrological data collection and analysis as well as in computer

5. Junior Research Fellows (JRFs)/ Junior Project Fellows (JPFs)

Project : “Community driven solid waste management in Himachal Pradesh: A step towards Swachh Bharat Mission
Qualification : First Class in Masters with Botany/Forestry/Environmental Science/Environmental Engineering or Equivalent/Geography from the recognized University Preference will be given to the candidates having skills of public dealing, working experience in the Urban and Semi Urban Areas and good communication and writing skills.

6. Field Assistants (FAs)

No. of Post : 02
Qualification : Intermediate (10 + 2) with 3 years experience. Preference will be given to the candidates having skills of public dealing, working experience in the Urban and Semi Urban Areas and laboratories and Computer.

Emoluments:
Senior Project Fellow, Rs 18,000 + Rs. 1,800/- HRA or 8% HRA fixed;

Junior Research Fellow, Rs. 25,000 + 8% HRA (NET - JRF qualified);

Junior Project Fellows (Rs. 16,000/- + Rs. 1,800/- HRA or 8% HRA fixed); and

Field cum Lab Assistant (HPPCL Project), Rs. 7,000/- fixed per month;

Field Assistant (NMHS Project), Rs. 10,000/- + 1,800/- HRA or 8% HRA fixed; and

Field Assistant (In House Project), Rs. 10,000/- per month fixed.
