Qualification : Bachelor’s degree from a reputed university; Master’s degree from a reputed university. Required professional experience: At least three years’ experience with educational organizations as teacher or administrator, or with corporate organizations in administrative leadership or client liasoning roles. Preferable educational qualifications: A degree earned in-residence from a leading university in an advanced foreign country such as those in North America, Western Europe, Australia, or Japan or Singapore etc.; Master’s degree from a reputed university in International Relations, Business, Political Science or a related area. Preferable Professional experience: Global exposure: having lived and worked/studied in an advanced foreign country such as those in North America, Western Europe, Australia, or Japan or Singapore etc.; having interfaced with foreign visitors (faculty and students) at a reputed academic Institution in India or abroad; having interfaced with government officials regarding foreigners’ visits experience of working and interfacing with students at a govt. Institution of higher education in India; experience of interfacing with administrators of leading Universities of the world; experience in a multinational organization interfacing with collaborators and clients around the world. Desirable Skills/ Knowledge : Administrative structure of top foreign universities, international funding opportunities in higher education, student exchange, memoranda of understanding between universities, visa and immigration rules, academic rules for various degrees and credit transfer, excellent communication skills in English.
