Job Description
Senior Project Scientist recruitment in IIT Kanpur purely temporary and on contractual basis.
Project entitled: “Technology Demonstrator Of Infra-Red Large Area
Metamaterials”.
Essential qualifications: Ph.D. in experimental physics / electrical-electronics engg / Photonics / Materials Science with significant hands-on experience with microscopy, lithography and deposition techniques. Two years relevant post-doctoral experience is required. A reasonably good publication record is required.
NET /GATE scores are desirable. Salary will be in the scale Rs. 32400-2700-81000 with medical facilities and accommodation as permissible under Institute rules.
Candidates without the requisite post-doctoral research experience may be considered.
Pay scale :Rs. 26400-2200-66000.
