Job Overview
A Senior Relationship Manager (SRM) is responsible for managing and growing relationships with high-value clients, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving business growth. They work closely with clients to understand their financial needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure long-term engagement. This role is common in banking, financial services, and corporate sectors, requiring strong communication, sales, and strategic planning skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Conduct regular meetings and check-ins to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities.
2. Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Identify and acquire new clients while maintaining existing relationships.
- Develop strategies to upsell and cross-sell financial products or services.
- Meet and exceed revenue and business growth targets.
3. Financial Advisory & Solution Selling
- Understand clients' financial goals and provide tailored solutions.
- Offer investment, banking, or business solutions based on client needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to customize offerings and enhance client experience.
4. Risk & Compliance Management
- Ensure all client transactions and relationships comply with regulatory and company policies.
- Monitor client accounts for risk exposure and recommend suitable risk management strategies.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes in financial regulations.
5. Market & Competitor Analysis
- Analyze market trends to identify new business opportunities.
- Monitor competitor activities and develop strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Provide insights and reports to senior management for strategic decision-making.
6. Team Collaboration & Leadership
- Work with internal teams, including product specialists, credit analysts, and operations teams, to deliver excellent client service.
- Mentor and guide junior relationship managers.
- Contribute to training programs and knowledge-sharing sessions.
