Senior Research Fellow/Young Professional II Microbiology job recruitment in recruitment in ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute on contractual basis

SRF/1 Post

Name of the Project : 1. CAAST-Advanced Centre for Livestock Health (ACLH) Project under NAHEP, ICAR

Qualification: Masters degree in the discipline of Veterinary Microbiology/ Bacteriology / Virology /Immunology / Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Biochemistry or any other related discipline in Life Science with 4 years / 5 Years of Bachelor Degree.

Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with three years Bachelor’s Degree and two years Master’s degree should have NET qualification.

SRF/Young Professional II /1 Post

Name of the Project : 2. ICAR-Consortia Research Platform on Vaccines & Diagnostics: Development of Thermo-adapted PPR and goatpox/sheeppox combined vaccines

As above with the exception that: 1.NET is not mandatory 2. Candidate of above mentioned disciplines with three years bachelor’s degree can also apply.

Desirable work Experience: Experience in Molecular Biology and Immunological techniques / Animal cell culture and virus propagation, with knowledge in bioinformatics. Working experience on Animal experimentation will be an added advantage. Published research papers in scientific journals will be desirable.

Emoluments for SRF Rs. 25,000/- per month for 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 28,000.00 per month for third year plus HRA as per ICAR guidelines. Emoluments for Young Professional II Rs. 25,000/- per month as a consolidated emoluments as per ICAR guidelines.

Age limit: Maximum 35 years for male candidates and 40 years for female candidates as on date of interview. Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per ICAR rules.
