Senior Residents job opportunities in Directorate of Medical
Education - Govt. of Andhra Pradesh on contract basis
Eligibility: Only the candidates who have M.Ch./DM/DNB degree are eligible.
DNB Candidates will be selected as per the latest existing MCI guidelines. a) If DNB done from MCI recognized medical college, is eligible for SR. b) If DNB done from other than MCI recognized medical college then 3 years as Junior Resident post DNB in a recognized medical college is mandatory.( proof in the form of 3 years of experience as JR and Bank salary statement/ Form-16 for the same 3 years)
Selected candidates should submit their original certificates of Degree and Registration of MBBS, MD/MS and M.Ch./ DM/DNB at the time of reporting which will be retained by the College authority for which custodian certificate will be issued by the college.

ensures the smooth functioning of all medical colleges and attached
teaching hospitals, nursing schools and nursing colleges. Under Act 6 of
1986 - University of Health Sciences Act 1986, NTR University of Health
Sciences was established at Vijayawada to provide for the establishment
and incorporation of a Teaching and Affiliating University in the State
of Andhra Pradesh for the purposes of ensuring efficient and systematic
education, trainee and Research on the Allopathic and Indian systems of
Medicine, Dentistry, and Nursing. Hence the Academic activities earlier
under D. M. E. were transferred to NTR University of Health Sciences,
Vijayawada, from 1986 onwards.
