Qualification : a) For Senior Residents, except Serial No. 2 3 and 11 above, MBBS with PG degree/diploma in concerned speciality from a recognized university (as well as the speciality recognized/permitted by MCI). b) For Senior Residents at Serial No. 2 (Nephrology), MBBS with PG degree/diploma in Medicine/DNB in Nephrology from a recognized university (as well as the speciality recognized/permitted by MCI).c) For Senior Residents at Serial No. 3 (Neonatology), MBBS with PG degree/diploma in Paediatrics/DNB in Neonatology from a recognized university (as well as the speciality recognized/permitted by MCI). d) For Senior Residents Serial No. 11 (Transfusion Medicine), MBBS with PG degree/diploma in Pathology/Transfusion Medicine from a recognized university (as well as the speciality recognized/permitted by MCI). e) Should be registered with Delhi Medical Council (DMC) or applied for registration (Proof to be enclosed). f) The candidate should complete the tenure of P.G. Degree/Diploma on or before 10.02.2017.
Pay Scale : Revised Pay Matrix Level 11 corresponding to PB-3 (Rs. 15600-39100/-) with Grade pay Rs 6600/-. Allowances as admissible will be paid.
Age Limit : a) Not exceeding 38 years for SC/ST, 36 years for OBC as on 10.02.2017. b) Age Relaxation for Persons with Disability (upto 48 years for SC/ST and 46 years for OBC candidates) as on 10.02.2017.
Application Fee : Application should be accompanied by a Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- for OBC Candidates [non refundable], issued after the date of advertisement, drawn on a scheduled bank in India, in favour of “Pay & Accounts Officer, Dr. R.M.L. Hospital, New Delhi” payable at New Delhi. SC/ST candidates and Persons with Disability (PWD) candidates of reserved category are exempted.

After independence, its control was shifted to New Delhi Municipal Committee. In 1954, its control was again transferred to the Central Government of Independent India.
