Position Overview
A Senior Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing and managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of the company’s sales strategy. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with proven experience in sales and a deep understanding of the sales cycle—from lead generation to deal closure.
The Senior Sales Executive acts as a key contributor to the organization’s bottom line by acquiring new clients, expanding business with existing accounts, and mentoring junior team members. This position requires excellent communication, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills, along with a strong customer-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development and Lead Generation

Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, referrals, and lead databases.

Develop and execute strategies to target new customer segments and expand the company’s market reach.

Build a strong pipeline by initiating contact with potential clients through calls, emails, online platforms, and face-to-face meetings.

Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to promote brand visibility and generate leads.
2. Client Relationship Management

Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key clients by providing personalized attention and consistent follow-ups.

Understand client needs, challenges, and objectives to offer suitable products or services.

Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication, support, and issue resolution.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective after-sales service and account management.
3. Sales Process Execution

Conduct meetings, presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations with prospective clients.

Prepare detailed proposals, quotations, contracts, and sales documentation in coordination with the internal team.

Handle objections and negotiations effectively to close high-value deals.

Collaborate with technical, product, operations, or delivery teams to ensure seamless execution of services sold.
4. Revenue Generation and Target Achievement

Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as defined by the management.

Monitor and track performance using KPIs such as sales volume, lead conversion rate, revenue growth, and client retention.

Analyze sales data and performance metrics to make informed business decisions and sales forecasts.

Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts.
5. Sales Strategy and Market Insights

Contribute to the development of the overall sales plan by providing market insights and competitor analysis.

Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and customer behavior to adjust sales approaches accordingly.

Share feedback with the marketing, product, and senior leadership teams to improve offerings and customer experience.
6. Mentorship and Team Collaboration

Support junior sales executives by sharing expertise, guiding sales tactics, and reviewing performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional departments such as marketing, operations, finance, and customer support to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient execution of deals.

Represent the sales team in internal meetings, contribute to strategic planning, and assist in training initiatives.
