Position Summary
The Senior Sales Officer (SSO) plays a vital role in driving business growth and customer acquisition in the new and used vehicle finance segment. This role focuses on identifying and developing strong relationships with vehicle dealerships, individual customers, and business partners to offer tailored financing solutions for car purchases. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in financial services or automotive sales, coupled with excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
The SSO will be responsible for achieving monthly and annual sales targets, supporting dealership partners, processing loan applications, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the financing process. A thorough understanding of vehicle loan products, credit evaluation, and local market dynamics is critical to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Generation and Target Achievement

Generate leads for new and used vehicle loans through direct sourcing, dealer networks, referrals, and walk-ins.

Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as defined by the management.

Promote the company’s auto loan products to potential customers and dealership sales teams.

Follow up with prospects, converting inquiries into approved loans.
2. Dealer and Channel Partner Management

Establish and maintain strong working relationships with vehicle dealerships and channel partners.

Educate dealership staff about loan schemes, documentation requirements, and eligibility criteria.

Conduct regular visits to dealerships to support partner teams in closing sales.

Drive business through on-site presence at partner locations and promotional activities.
3. Customer Relationship Management

Act as a trusted advisor to customers by offering clear and accurate information on loan terms, EMIs, interest rates, processing fees, and documentation.

Guide customers through the vehicle financing process, from application to disbursement.

Handle customer queries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a smooth post-sale experience.

Maintain a database of customers and follow up for repeat business and referrals.
4. Loan Processing and Documentation

Collect and verify customer documents including ID proof, address proof, income proof, vehicle invoices, etc.

Conduct preliminary credit assessments in line with company policies.

Coordinate with credit, risk, and operations teams for application approvals and timely disbursals.

Ensure full compliance with KYC, AML, and other regulatory standards.
5. Market Intelligence and Reporting

Stay updated on competitor offerings, interest rates, and market trends in vehicle finance.

Share customer and market feedback with the product and sales leadership teams.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on lead generation, conversion rates, partner performance, and loan disbursements.

Assist in pricing decisions, promotional campaigns, and sales strategy improvements.
