M.Sc. IInd division in Physics/Chemistry from a University established by Law
in India. (b) Two years’ experience of working in a Forensic Science Laboratory
of a State or Central Government or similar experience in public Undertaking or
Corporation
2. Senior Scientific Officer (Chemistry Division) -(a) M.Sc.
IInd division in Chemistry from a University established by Law in India. (b)
Two years’ experience of working in a Forensic Science Laboratory of a State or
Central Government or similar experience in public Undertaking or
Corporation.(a) M.Sc. IInd division in Physics/Physical Chemistry from a
University established by Law in India. (b) Two years’ experience of working in
a Forensic Science Laboratory of a State or Central Government or similar
experience in public Undertaking or Corporation.
3. Senior Scientific Officer (Physics Division) - (a) M.Sc.
IInd division in Physics/Mathematics. (b) Two years’ experience of working in a
Forensic Science Laboratory of a State or Central Government or similar
experience in public Undertaking or Corporation.
4. Senior Scientific Officer (Ballistics Division)- (a)
M.Sc. IInd division in Zoology/Bio-Chemistry. (b) Two years’ experience of
working in a Forensic Science Laboratory of a State or Central Government or
similar experience in public Undertaking or Corporation.
5. Senior Scientific Officer (Biology Division)
- (a) M.Sc. IInd division in Zoology/Bio-Chemistry. (b) Two years’
experience of working in a Forensic Science Laboratory of a State or Central
Government or similar experience in public Undertaking or Corporation.
6. Senior Scientific Officer (Serology Division) - (a)
M.Sc. IInd division in Chemistry from a University established by Law in India.
(b) Two years’ experience of working in a Forensic Science Laboratory of a
State or Central Government or similar experience in public Undertaking or
Corporation.
7. Senior Scientific Officer (Toxicology Division)
- (a) M.Sc. IInd division in Chemistry from a University established by
Law in India. (b) Two years’ experience of working in a Forensic Science
Laboratory of a State or Central Government or similar experience in public
Undertaking or Corporation.
8. Senior Scientific Officer (Photo Division) - (a)
B.Sc. from a University established by Law with Diploma in Photography of a
Institute of Repute. (b) Two years’ experience in modern Photographic
Techniques viz Photomicrography, U.V. and I.R. Photography, X-Ray and
spectrographic Photography Ballistics Photography and Cinematography of
Institute of repute.
9. Senior Scientific Officer (Narcotics Division ) -(a)
M.Sc. IInd division in Chemistry from a University established by Law in India.
(b) Two years’ experience of working in a Forensic Science Laboratory of a
State or Central Government or similar experience in public Undertaking or
Corporation.
10. Senior Scientific Officer (Arson & Explosives
Division)- (a) M.Sc. IInd division in Chemistry from a University
established by Law in India. (b) Two years’ experience of working in a Forensic
Science Laboratory of a State or Central Government or similar experience in
public Undertaking or Corporation
Pay : L-15 (Grade pay -6000/-)
Age Limit : That the upper age limit shall be 50 years in
the case of reservists, namely the Defence Service Personnel who were
transferred to the Reserve or retired or released Defence Service Personnel.
Selection Procedure : Selection will be based on competitive examinations or in case of posts filled in through the Commission by interview.
