Job Description
Senior Tax Associate
Location : Andheri (east), Mumbai.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Handling entire GST compliances including monthly returns, matching credits, reconciliation etc. for multiple locations within India.
- Handling timely GST refund applications.
- Handling annual GST audits and working closely with the consultants for all GST notices, assessments, appeals etc.
- Handling direct tax compliances such as withholding tax, advance tax, corporate tax returns, etc.
- Working closely with the tax consultant and internal team to close tax audits, statutory audit, tax assessments, appeals etc.
- Providing assistance to function head on managing key taxation queries, critical tax issues, implementation of key projects wherever needed.
- Handling various compliances under Provident Fund, Profession Tax, Employer State Insurance Corporation (‘ESIC’) and other labor laws applicable to the Company including handling of audits
- Having keen interest in learning transfer pricing and international tax regulations to support Cactus group entities.
So how do we know that’s you? You have the personality and the experience :
- Qualified CA.
- 1-2 years’ experience in taxation either with an industry or with tax consulting firm.
- Having knowledge and understanding of GST is required.
- Knowledge of TP and International taxation would be preferred, not a must.
- Good spoken English and good email writing skills.
- Knowledge of MS word, excel, power point, Outlook etc.
