Job Description
We are looking for a confident, experienced, and result-driven Senior Telecaller to lead and enhance our outbound calling operations. This role requires someone with proven telecalling expertise, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to guide junior telecallers while meeting or exceeding individual and team sales or lead generation targets.
As a Senior Telecaller, you will be responsible for handling high-priority customer interactions, closing deals or appointments, resolving escalations, and mentoring new team members. This role plays a crucial part in our sales, marketing, or customer service operations, depending on the department assigned.
Position Overview:
The Senior Telecaller will primarily be involved in contacting potential or existing customers over the phone to inform them about products or services, generate interest, and convert them into leads or sales. You will also support team development by sharing best practices, monitoring junior staff, and ensuring process compliance. Strong communication, persuasion, and leadership qualities are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Outbound Calling and Lead Conversion

Make outbound calls to prospective customers using a provided database or lead list.

Present product or service details clearly and professionally to generate interest.

Handle high-value or sensitive customer calls with a focus on building trust and rapport.

Close sales or schedule appointments as per targets set by the organization.

Follow up diligently on leads to ensure conversion and customer satisfaction.
2. Escalation Handling and Issue Resolution

Address and resolve customer complaints, concerns, or objections that junior team members cannot handle.

Offer customized solutions or escalate complex cases to management when needed.

Ensure all escalations are closed in a timely and satisfactory manner.
3. Team Mentoring and Support

Train and support new telecallers on call techniques, sales strategies, and company procedures.

Monitor call quality, provide feedback, and coach junior team members to improve performance.

Lead by example in meeting personal targets and supporting team goals.
4. CRM and Reporting

Accurately update customer information, call notes, and outcomes in CRM or sales tracking systems.

Prepare daily and weekly reports on calls made, leads generated, conversions, and customer feedback.

Share insights and suggestions with the team leader or manager for process improvements.
5. Process Compliance and Professionalism

Follow company scripts, calling formats, and compliance guidelines strictly.
