Job Description
Position: Senior Territory Sales Executive
Work Place: Kozhikode , Vadakara , Koyilandi , Ramanatukara , Vengara
Experience: 3-4 years
Responsibilities:
- To build/develop business in Kozhikode markets, by planning, directing and implementing sales strategies to achieve or exceed the sales objectives for the region.
- Appointing the right set of channel partners with appropriate experience, good infrastructure, financially strong and with an attitude to grow.
- To develop and maintain a strong sales infrastructure and an aggressive sales team.
- Setting targets and monitoring them periodically to ensure that they are in line with the business plan.
- Meeting the revenue targets for the region.
- Driving business development activities of the region.
- Analyzing the sales trend and taking corrective actions wherever necessary.
- Sales team deployment as per the company's requirement and as per the budget.
- Orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees in assigned territory.
- To plan, prepare and control sales budget, sales forecast, sales plan.
- Liaising with the Marketing team to ensure that adequate marketing support by way of merchandising and promotions is available in the region in order to provide brand visibility and promote sales in the region.
- To continuously gain and update category and channel expertise.
- Continuously acquiring knowledge regarding the industry, market construct, and customer behavior to enable effective business plans.
- Acquire knowledge regarding competition product, strategies to counter attack competition in the best possible manner
- Exercising stock control at customer point
- Maintaining appropriate stock levels at customer point
- Ensuring smooth supplies and timely dispatch to customers
- To ensure that sales systems and processes are in place and being used effectively
