Your Role and Responsibilities
This is a Senior Test Engineer role that combines hands-on understanding in both security and software testing for IBM Security Guardium Key Lifecycle Manager.
IBM Security Guardium Key Lifecycle Manager centralizes, simplifies and automates the encryption key management process to help minimize risk and reduce operational costs of encryption key management. It offers secure, robust key storage, key serving and key lifecycle management for IBM and non-IBM storage solutions using the OASIS Key Management Interoperability Protocol (KMIP). IBM Security Guardium Key Lifecycle Manager helps customers meet regulations such as the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), Sarbanes-Oxley and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) by providing centralized management of encryption keys.

Responsibilities:
- Testing all aspects of the product/system including function/component, system, performance, regression and service
- Work with development team to identify and capture test cases, and ensure version management
- Setting up of test environments, designing test plans, developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases
- Providing feedback on usability and serviceability, trace the result to quality risk and report it to concerned people in development
- Build the Test Automation suite for product using industry standard Automation tools/technologies
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing
- Ability to use a wide variety of open-source automation technologies and tools
- Experienced in Install, deploy and associated automation with middleware- App servers and databases
- Strong at system administration - Linux, Windows with passion for scripting, coding and automation.
- Working Knowledge of Automation tools and frameworks including JMeter, QTPro, Selenium and Cypress
- Working knowledge of using virtual machine environments and containers
- An understanding of the software development life cycle as well as the business approach for the product
- Demonstrated Analytical skills and decision-making ability, attention to details and a strong test aptitude
- Ability to work in a team as well as an individual contributor
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain deadlines
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience with workflow and collaboration tooling such as Atlassian Jira
- Experience with code management tooling such as Git, Github, Gitlab
- Experience with Dockers technologies
- Familiarity with cloud computing services such as AWS, Azure, GCP - Advantage
- Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.
