Job Description
This is a remote (work-from-home) position.
Key Responsibilities:
1. On-Page SEO:

Keyword Research: Conduct thorough keyword research using SEO tools (like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, SEMrush) to identify high-value keywords for optimization.

On-Page Optimization: Optimize website pages (including content, meta tags, headings, images, and URLs) to improve search engine rankings.

Content Strategy: Collaborate with the content team to ensure that website content is SEO-optimized, ensuring keyword usage, readability, and engagement.

Internal Linking: Manage and improve internal linking structure to enhance user experience and site crawlability.
2. Off-Page SEO:

Link Building: Develop and execute link-building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks from authoritative websites.

Outreach Campaigns: Conduct outreach to industry blogs, influencers, and websites for guest posting, collaboration, and backlinking opportunities.

Reputation Management: Monitor and manage the company’s online reputation by improving domain authority through ethical SEO practices.
3. Technical SEO:

Website Audits: Perform regular SEO audits to identify technical issues (like broken links, crawl errors, slow page loading speeds) and recommend fixes.

Site Speed Optimization: Work with the development team to optimize website speed, ensuring fast loading times to enhance user experience and search rankings.

Mobile Optimization: Ensure the website is mobile-friendly and optimized for mobile search rankings.

Structured Data Markup: Implement structured data (schema markup) to enhance rich snippets and increase visibility on search results.
4. Analytics & Reporting:

Performance Monitoring: Use Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools to monitor organic traffic, rankings, and user behavior on the website.

Data Analysis: Analyze SEO performance data to understand trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

Monthly Reporting: Prepare and present monthly SEO reports to stakeholders, including key metrics like organic traffic, keyword rankings, backlinks, and conversions.

Competitor Analysis: Regularly monitor competitor websites and SEO strategies to identify gaps and new opportunities for growth.
5. SEO Strategy & Recommendations:

SEO Roadmap: Collaborate with the digital marketing team to create and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy for both short-term and long-term goals.

Trend Identification: Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices to ensure the company’s SEO efforts remain effective.

Optimization Recommendations: Provide actionable recommendations to improve the website’s SEO performance and content quality.
6. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work:

Content Team Collaboration: Work closely with the content team to ensure blog posts, landing pages, and other content types are optimized for SEO.

Web Development Collaboration: Coordinate with web developers to implement technical SEO changes and improvements.

Cross-Functional Communication: Collaborate with the social media, PPC, and design teams to ensure SEO initiatives align with broader marketing goals.
Qualifications & Skills:

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.

Google Analytics, Google Ads, or other relevant certifications are a plus.

Skills:

SEO Knowledge: Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO practices.

SEO Tools Proficiency: Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.

Keyword Research: Expertise in performing keyword research and creating SEO strategies based on keyword data.

Content Optimization: Ability to optimize content for SEO while maintaining quality and readability.

Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret SEO data and generate actionable insights from it.

Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, particularly when it comes to tracking metrics, monitoring changes, and implementing SEO fixes.

Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and collaboration.

Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose SEO issues and implement effective solutions.
