Responsibilities and Duties

Research and implement search engine optimisation recommendations
Develop and implement link building strategy
Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
Define requirements, tasks, and resources associated with SEO strategy
Manage and execute implementation of SEO strategy
Communication to team and management on strategy/project development, timelines, and results
Implement and administer search engine programmes (XML sitemaps, webmaster tools)
Monitor and evaluate web analytics dashboards and SEO reports.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience working in a SEO related role or SEO related certificate, with a broad-based knowledge of web analytics, page speed performance, CSS, JavaScript, HTML, UX design elements and how they affect/represent SEO performance.
