Job Overview:
A Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Executive is responsible for improving a website’s visibility and ranking in search engine results pages (SERPs) by implementing various on-page and off-page SEO strategies. The role involves analyzing, reviewing, and executing tactics to increase organic traffic, improve user engagement, and achieve search ranking goals.
The SEO Executive plays a key part in the success of the company’s digital presence by ensuring that its content is discoverable by search engines and relevant to the target audience. - Conducting on-site and off-site analysis of web SEO competition.
- Using google analytics to conduct performance reports regularly.
- Creating high-quality SEO content.
- Assisting with blog content.
- Leading keyword research and optimization of content.
- Keeping up-to-date with developments in SEM.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Keyword Research & Planning:

Conduct thorough keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Ubersuggest, or Moz.

Identify high-volume, low-competition, and long-tail keywords relevant to the company’s products, services, or content.

Build and maintain keyword databases for different web pages and campaigns.
2. On-Page SEO Optimization:

Optimize website content, meta tags (title, description), headings (H1–H6), and image alt text for target keywords.

Ensure proper URL structure, internal linking, and content formatting according to SEO best practices.

Work with content writers to produce SEO-friendly articles, blogs, product descriptions, and landing pages.

Ensure technical SEO compliance including schema markup, canonical tags, redirects, etc.
3. Off-Page SEO Activities:

Build high-quality backlinks from relevant websites through ethical link-building strategies.

Manage business listings, directory submissions, and citation building.

Conduct outreach for guest blogging, influencer collaboration, or content syndication.

Track and manage backlinks to ensure link health and avoid spammy links.
4. Technical SEO Monitoring:

Regularly audit websites using tools like Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, or Google Search Console.

Identify and resolve technical issues such as broken links, crawl errors, mobile usability, page speed, and indexation problems.

Collaborate with web developers to implement SEO-related improvements like lazy loading, image optimization, and Core Web Vitals compliance.
5. Performance Analysis & Reporting:

Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and third-party platforms.

Track rankings, organic traffic, bounce rate, CTR, and conversions.

Create monthly or weekly reports on SEO metrics and campaign performance.

Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
6. Competitor Analysis:

7. Algorithm Updates & SEO Trends:

Attend webinars, read blogs, and participate in SEO communities or forums.
8. Cross-Team Collaboration:

Work closely with content creators, designers, developers, and the social media team.

Provide SEO guidance during website design or redesign processes.

Share SEO best practices across departments to improve overall digital performance.
