Position Overview
We are looking for a results-driven and detail-oriented SEO Executive specializing in off-page SEO and link building to join our digital marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of SEO fundamentals, proven expertise in link acquisition strategies, and experience using advanced SEO tools such as Ahrefs and SEMrush. This role demands a strategic thinker who can plan and execute effective outreach campaigns, analyze backlink profiles, and ensure adherence to white-hat SEO practices to enhance our website’s domain authority and search rankings.
Key Responsibilities
1. Off-Page SEO & Link Building

Plan, develop, and implement effective off-page SEO strategies focused on high-quality link acquisition.

Conduct thorough competitor backlink analysis to identify new link-building opportunities.

Execute guest post outreach campaigns by identifying relevant authoritative websites, pitching content ideas, and managing publication.

Build and maintain relationships with bloggers, influencers, webmasters, and digital publishers for backlink opportunities.

Use outreach tools and email marketing campaigns to generate backlinks without resorting to black-hat techniques.
2. Backlink Profile Analysis & Monitoring

Regularly audit the website’s backlink profile using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz.

Identify toxic or low-quality backlinks and recommend disavowal or removal strategies.

Track the progress and effectiveness of link-building campaigns and backlink quality.

Monitor domain authority, page authority, and other key SEO metrics affected by off-page activities.
3. SEO Strategy & Collaboration

Collaborate with on-page SEO teams, content creators, and web developers to ensure off-page efforts align with overall SEO and business goals.

Provide insights and recommendations based on backlink data to improve site authority and search engine rankings.

Assist in optimizing anchor text distribution and link placement strategies.

Stay updated with Google’s search algorithm updates and industry best practices to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
4. SEO Tools & Reporting

Utilize SEO tools including Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics (GA), Google Search Console (GSC), and others to analyze website traffic, user behavior, and backlink metrics.

Prepare detailed reports on link-building activities, website authority improvements, and SEO performance for stakeholders.

Track KPIs such as backlink volume, referring domains, organic traffic growth, and keyword ranking improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred.

Proven expertise with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or similar platforms.

Strong knowledge of backlink analysis, toxic link identification, and Google’s link policies.

Excellent communication and outreach skills, with experience in managing influencer and publisher relationships.

Solid understanding of SEO best practices, including white-hat and black-hat techniques and their implications.

Basic familiarity with Google Analytics (GA) and Google Search Console (GSC); certifications are a plus.

Experience working in an SEO agency environment is highly desirable.
