Job Description
Define, prioritize, and manage the execution of key SEO tactical initiatives, including keyword analysis, on-site optimizations, content development, site auditing, link-building, and competitive analyses. Provide on-page SEO recommendations pertaining to both technical and performance aspects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Keyword Research & Analysis
-
Conduct keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ubersuggest, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
-
Identify high-volume, low-competition keywords relevant to business goals.
-
Support content and product teams with keyword suggestions for blogs, landing pages, and service pages.
2. On-Page SEO Optimization
-
Optimize meta tags including title, description, and heading structure (H1, H2, etc.).

Ensure content follows best SEO practices, including internal linking, keyword placement, and readability.

Update and maintain SEO-friendly URLs, image alt text, and structured data markup (schema).
3. Off-Page SEO & Link Building
-
Research websites for backlink opportunities (guest posting, directory submission, forum posting, etc.).

Help in executing backlink strategies to improve domain authority and page rank.

Maintain records of backlinks and their statuses.
4. Technical SEO Support
-
Conduct basic site audits using tools like Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and Moz.

Identify and report technical SEO issues such as broken links, duplicate content, or slow loading pages.

Work with developers or content managers to implement SEO suggestions.
5. Content Optimization
-
Review blog content for SEO effectiveness and suggest improvements.

Assist in content rewriting and keyword optimization.

Coordinate with writers or content teams to ensure content aligns with SEO guidelines.
6. Analytics & Reporting
-
Track SEO metrics such as traffic, rankings, impressions, CTR, and bounce rates.

Create weekly and monthly performance reports using Google Analytics and Search Console.

Monitor performance of SEO campaigns and assist in preparing insights and recommendations.
7. Competitor Research

Analyze competitor websites for keyword gaps, backlinks, and performance.

Benchmark SEO activities against competitors and suggest strategies for improvement.
8. Learning & Training

Stay updated with the latest SEO and search engine algorithm trends.

Attend internal or external training sessions/webinars on SEO and digital marketing.
Skills Required:

Familiarity with keyword research and Google search behavior.

Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
