Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic SEO Intern to join our company's digital marketing team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in search engine optimization (SEO) techniques, strategies, and best practices. As an SEO Intern, you will work closely with experienced professionals to support the execution of SEO initiatives and contribute to the overall success of our online presence.
Responsibilities:
Keyword Research: Conduct thorough keyword research using various tools and techniques to identify relevant keywords for our website and content optimization.
On-Page Optimization: Assist in optimizing web pages, blog posts, and other digital content for search engines by incorporating target keywords, meta tags, headings, and other on-page SEO elements.
Content Creation: Collaborate with the content team to create high-quality, keyword-rich content that aligns with SEO goals and engages our target audience.
Technical SEO: Assist in conducting website audits, identifying and resolving technical SEO issues such as broken links, crawl errors, duplicate content, and site speed optimization.
Link Building: Support link building efforts by researching and identifying potential link-building opportunities, conducting outreach, and building relationships with relevant websites.
Competitor Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis to identify SEO strategies used by competitors, analyze their backlink profiles, and recommend strategies to improve our organic search performance.
Reporting and Analytics: Assist in monitoring and analyzing website traffic, keyword rankings, and other SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics and SEO software, and prepare regular reports to track performance.
Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, algorithm changes, and industry developments in the field of SEO to contribute fresh ideas and insights.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, computer science, or a related field (or recently graduated).
Basic understanding of SEO principles, techniques, and best practices.
Familiarity with keyword research tools, on-page optimization, and SEO analytics.
Proficiency in using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO software is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A passion for digital marketing and a desire to learn and grow in the field of SEO.
Duration and Compensation:
This is a paid internship position with a duration of 3 months. The internship offers a valuable learning experience and the opportunity to work on real-world SEO projects. The selected candidate will get Rs. 8000/- as compensation during the internship period. If the candidate is found hardworking and useful during the internship period, we will offer a full time employment, post internship completion.
