Position: SEO
Location: Remote
Type: Internship /(Full-time)
Duration: 3 to 6 months
Start Date: Dec 2024
Compensation: 5k to 10k fix
Responsibilities:
- Keyword Research: Assist in identifying high-value keywords for on-page optimization, content creation, and link-building.
- On-Page SEO: Help optimize website content, meta tags, headings, and images for better search engine rankings.
- Content Strategy: Collaborate with the content team to ensure that SEO best practices are followed during content creation.
- Link Building: Assist in developing strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks from relevant websites.
- SEO Audits: Help perform audits of website pages to identify areas for improvement and assist in executing fixes.
- Analytics & Reporting: Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and others to monitor traffic, rankings, and performance metrics, and assist in creating reports.
- Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitor websites to identify SEO strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities.
- Stay Updated on SEO Trends: Keep up to date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and digital marketing strategies.
- Strong interest in digital marketing, SEO, and web analytics.
- Familiarity with SEO concepts, tools, and best practices (previous experience with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar is a plus).
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and website structure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Ability to analyze data and draw actionable insights.
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (preferred).
