Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic SEO Trainee to join our digital marketing team. This role is ideal for freshers or students looking to start a career in search engine optimization (SEO). You will receive hands-on training and mentorship in on-page, off-page, and technical SEO techniques while contributing to real projects that impact web visibility and traffic growth.
As an SEO Trainee, you’ll learn how search engines work and how websites can rank higher on platforms like Google through ethical, data-driven methods.
Key Responsibilities:
1. On-Page SEO

Learn to optimize content for target keywords, meta titles, descriptions, headers (H1-H6), and URLs.

Support with internal linking and keyword mapping across pages.

Assist in performing SEO audits of websites using tools like Screaming Frog or SEOquake.
2. Off-Page SEO

Learn about backlink strategies and assist in link-building outreach.

Submit content to business directories, blogs, forums, and bookmarking sites.

Monitor backlinks and ensure they are from quality sources.
3. Keyword Research

Support keyword discovery using tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ubersuggest, or SEMrush.

Help identify content gaps and opportunities based on keyword trends.
4. Content Optimization

Coordinate with content writers and editors to ensure SEO guidelines are met.

Suggest keywords for blogs, articles, product pages, and landing pages.
5. Analytics & Reporting

Monitor website traffic using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.

Assist in creating basic performance reports (organic traffic, impressions, clicks, rankings).

Track keyword rankings and SERP positions weekly.
6. Technical SEO (Under Supervision)

Learn basics of site speed, mobile-friendliness, and crawl errors.

Support technical audits to check for indexing, sitemaps, robots.txt, etc.
Key Skills:

Familiarity with SEO tools like Google Search Console, Ubersuggest, Ahrefs, or Moz (a plus)
