Job Description
A two-wheeler service advisor acts as a vital communication link between customers and the service department, explaining vehicle problems, providing repair estimates, and ensuring timely delivery of serviced motorcycles or scooters. Key responsibilities include greeting customers, accurately documenting service needs, coordinating with technicians for parts and repairs, maintaining service records, handling payments, and resolving any customer complaints to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Interaction:
Greet customers, listen to their concerns, and provide excellent customer service from vehicle intake to release.
- Diagnosis and Consultation:
Translate customer-reported issues and observe the vehicle's condition to help determine the necessary repairs.
- Estimation and Approvals:
Prepare accurate repair estimates and communicate them to customers, obtaining their permission for additional work not covered in the original service request.
- Technical Liaison:
Communicate the customer's needs and the work order details to the service technicians.
- Parts and Progress Monitoring:
Coordinate with technicians to ensure the correct parts are ordered and delivered, and monitor the progress of service jobs.
- Quality Control:
Ensure that all work provided by the service department meets the company's quality standards.
- Financial Transactions:
Handle invoicing and process payments for services rendered.
- Customer Relationship Management:
Address customer complaints promptly and work to resolve them, aiming to ensure customer satisfaction and foster loyalty.
- Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate customer and service records in the service department's computer database.
