Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Installation & Commissioning:
-
Perform on-site installation and commissioning of HVAC systems as per design drawings and manufacturer specifications.
-
Ensure proper configuration and alignment of components, including compressors, blowers, ductwork, valves, and control panels.
-
Conduct system testing and performance checks during installation and document the results.
2. Preventive Maintenance:
-
Execute scheduled maintenance activities including filter cleaning/replacement, coil cleaning, lubrication of moving parts, and system calibration.
-
Identify potential system failures or inefficiencies during routine inspections.
-
Maintain a detailed record of service schedules and maintenance logs.
3. Troubleshooting & Repair:
-
Diagnose and repair issues in air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.
-
Address problems related to motors, sensors, thermostats, electrical circuits, refrigerant levels, and airflows.
-
Replace faulty parts and ensure systems are restored to operational condition with minimal downtime.
4. Customer Service & Reporting:
-
Interact with clients and site managers to explain issues, proposed solutions, and system performance.

Provide professional service in a timely and courteous manner to build client trust and satisfaction.

Prepare and submit service reports, job completion forms, and material usage logs.
5. Compliance & Safety:
-
Follow company safety protocols and industry standards when working with refrigerants, electrical components, and pressurized systems.

Ensure compliance with applicable HVAC codes and environmental regulations (e.g., F-Gas, ASHRAE, ISO, etc.).
-
Use appropriate PPE and safety tools while on-site.
6. Documentation & Feedback:
-
Document all service interventions accurately using company CRM or service software tools.
-
Provide technical feedback to design, R&D, or product support teams to improve system reliability.

Maintain inventory records of spare parts used and report requirements for restocking.
