Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Equipment Service & Repair
-
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical faults in hospital equipment, including:
-
Ventilators
-
OT tables
-
OT lights
-
Other surgical and life-support equipment.

Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal functionality and safety of devices.
-
Replace faulty components and calibrate equipment as per manufacturer guidelines.
2. Installation of Medical Equipment
-
Carry out installation and setup of new OT equipment and ventilators at hospital sites.
-
Ensure proper functioning and compliance with operational standards.
-
Provide demonstrations and basic operational training to hospital staff after installation.
3. Customer Communication & Reporting
-
Maintain professional and courteous communication with hospital authorities, biomedical engineers, and staff.
-
Prepare and submit service reports, installation logs, and maintenance records in a timely manner.
-
Report recurring issues or major faults to the technical head for further action.
4. Multilingual Communication
-
Communicate effectively in English, Hindi, and Marathi to ensure clear understanding with diverse clients.

Strong knowledge of biomedical equipment repair and maintenance.

Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service instructions.

Hands-on experience with tools, testing instruments, and calibration equipment.
