Service Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for a Service Engineer to join our technical support team, specializing in UPS, Inverter Installation, Servicing, and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC). The role involves visiting client locations to perform installations, resolve technical issues, and ensure preventive and corrective maintenance for uninterrupted power solutions.
This is a field-based role that requires hands-on technical expertise, customer interaction, and problem-solving abilities. The company provides a two-wheeler for official use, along with additional employee benefits such as yearly increments, performance bonus, PF, and medical insurance coverage for family members after a defined service period.
Key Responsibilities

Install UPS and Inverter systems at client sites as per company standards.

Provide on-site servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of UPS and inverters.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance under AMC agreements.

Conduct routine inspections to ensure system reliability and efficiency.

Maintain detailed service reports and update documentation after each visit.

Coordinate with the operations team for spare parts, tools, and timely service.

Ensure customer satisfaction by providing prompt, professional, and courteous service.

Provide feedback to the technical team on recurring issues and product improvements.
Skills and Competencies

Strong knowledge of UPS, inverters, and power backup systems.

Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical/electronic systems.

Good communication and customer handling skills.

Problem-solving ability with a proactive approach.

Willingness to travel extensively to client locations.
Eligibility & Qualifications

ITI / Diploma / Graduate in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or related field.

Prior experience in UPS and inverter servicing preferred, freshers with knowledge may also apply.

Basic understanding of AMC and service operations.
