Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Junior Engineer with hands-on experience in Vestas wind turbines (V27, V47 etc.) to support our growing O&M projects. The ideal candidate will play a key role in executing planned and unplanned maintenance activities, ensuring optimal turbine performance, and maintaining safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day operation and maintenance of Vestas wind turbines.
- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance as per OEM guidelines.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults in turbines.
- Support in major component replacement and retrofit projects.
- Maintain service records and reports using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Ensure compliance with all HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) protocols and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve turbine performance and availability.
- Assist in condition monitoring, vibration analysis, and remote diagnostics.
- Participate in root cause analysis and reliability improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / EEE / Renewable Energy Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience working on Vestas wind turbines (e.g., V27, V47 series).
- Strong understanding of turbine systems (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic).
- Experience in handling SCADA-based monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Familiar with safety procedures related to working at height and confined spaces.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good communication and team collaboration abilities.
- Willingness to travel to remote wind farm sites and work in rotational shifts.
