Service Engineer Job Description - V Force Technologies
V Force Technologies, based in Chennai's Ambattur Industrial Estate, specializes in tolling automation solutions like Weigh-in-Motion (WIM) systems and weighbridges for manufacturing and infrastructure clients. We're seeking a Fresher / skilled Service Engineer to handle installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Weigh-in-Motion (WIM) systems, weighbridges, and related industrial tech. Based in Chennai, you'll support on-site services across India, ensuring seamless operations for automotive and manufacturing clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and service WIM systems, sensors, and automation equipment on-site across India.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and software faults using diagnostic tools; perform repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Train clients on system operation, generate service reports, and ensure 24/7 equipment uptime.
- Coordinate with vendors for spare parts and collaborate on project installations.
Qualifications and Skills
- ITI/Diploma/B.E. in Electronics, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering (ITI freshers considered for entry-level).
- 0-2 years’ experience in service engineering, preferably with WIM, weighbridges, PLC, or field instrumentation. (FRESHERS CAN ALSO APPLY)
- Valid two-wheeler license; willingness for travel and field work.
- Strong problem-solving, communication skills (English/Tamil), and technical troubleshooting ability.

- Salary: ₹1.8-2.5 Lac/year (₹15,000-₹21,000/month) for freshers, higher for experienced;
