Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a courteous, knowledgeable, and technically sound Service Executive to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate should have a background in automotive education or equivalent hands-on experience and be responsible for providing excellent customer service from vehicle intake to delivery. The role includes diagnosing issues based on customer input, coordinating with technicians, ordering parts, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction & Service Intake:

Greet customers professionally as they arrive at the service center

Listen to and accurately note customer concerns about vehicle performance

Clearly explain service and repair options, estimated time, and costs

Open service job cards and ensure all customer requirements are documented
Diagnostics & Coordination:

Collaborate with technicians to inspect and diagnose vehicle issues

Explain technical problems in simple language to customers when required

Ensure a smooth workflow from problem identification to resolution
Parts & Logistics Management:

Identify necessary parts and place orders with suppliers or the in-house parts department

Follow up to ensure timely delivery of parts to technicians

Keep customers informed of delays or additional work required
Customer Service & Complaint Handling:

Provide timely updates to customers during servicing and at completion

Handle and resolve customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally

Maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
Documentation & Reporting:

Ensure proper documentation of vehicle condition, service performed, and parts used

Maintain accurate service records and assist with billing and invoicing

Generate daily and weekly reports on customer satisfaction and service quality
