Service Technician
Job Description
Job Responsibility:
● Responsible for Installation/Servicing/Repairing Aquaguard Water Purifiers, Eureka Forbes Vacuum Cleaners and Air Purifiers at customer location.
● Ensure to reach the customer location on time as per the requested date & time.
● Follow the given repair SOP (standard operating procedure) for specific devices based on the guidelines and training given to him.
▪ Budget achievement, SR (Service Request), IR (Installation Request), MS (Mandatory Service)
▪ Attendance for a given month and min. productivity in a day
● Ensure collection of IWIC (In warranty In contract) defective parts and brought back to CSC store for team inspection & audit.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Installation of New Units:
-
Install water purifiers, vacuum cleaners, and air purifiers at customer locations.

Ensure units are properly mounted, connected, and functioning as per manufacturer specifications.

Explain the product usage and basic maintenance to customers.
2. Preventive Maintenance Services (PMS):
-
Conduct regular service and maintenance as per scheduled visits or customer requests.

Clean filters, replace worn-out parts, check water flow, suction capacity, etc., as applicable to each appliance.

Maintain records of each service completed and parts replaced.
3. Troubleshooting and Repairs:

Diagnose issues such as leakage, low suction, noise, electrical faults, or filter blockages.

Repair or replace faulty components like motors, switches, pipes, and filters.

Ensure that post-repair, the machine is fully functional and safe to use.
4. Customer Communication:
-
Provide clear communication to customers regarding the issue, service performed, and any future maintenance needs.

Handle customer complaints or escalations with professionalism and empathy.

Educate customers on product usage, do's and don'ts, and tips for prolonging appliance life.
5. Spare Parts and Inventory Management:
-
Maintain and carry a stock of commonly used spare parts.

Raise requests for parts that are unavailable and follow up with inventory team or service center.

Submit usage reports and return unused or damaged parts as per company policy.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
-
Fill service reports after every visit with customer signature.

Update CRM or service app with visit status, customer feedback, and job completion notes.

Submit daily service logs, timesheets, and expense claims if any.
