Job Description
We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Developer/Administrator who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This role involves both technical and administrative tasks including customizing modules, integrating systems, and ensuring the optimal performance and scalability of ServiceNow services to support IT Service Management (ITSM) and other business processes.
Key Responsibilities:-
Platform Development & Customization:

Design and develop custom applications and workflows using ServiceNow’s development tools and scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, AngularJS for Service Portal components).

Customize out-of-the-box modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset Management to meet business requirements.

Administration & Configuration:

Oversee daily platform administration, including user administration, role assignments, and licensing management.

Configure and manage ServiceNow environments, update instances, and perform routine maintenance.

Integration:
-
Develop and manage integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM) using APIs, middleware, or custom connectors.

Troubleshooting & Maintenance:

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes across custom applications and integrations.

Handle escalations related to platform functionality and provide timely resolution.

Collaboration & Documentation:

Work closely with IT teams, business analysts, and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into scalable ServiceNow solutions.

Maintain comprehensive documentation including technical specifications, process flows, and user guides.

Best Practices & Process Improvement:

Keep up to date with new features and enhancements in ServiceNow, recommending and implementing platform improvements.

Adhere to coding standards, security practices, and governance policies.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience with ServiceNow configuration and development (typically 3+ years).

Proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS, and other relevant scripting languages.

Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices.

Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise systems via REST/SOAP APIs.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

ServiceNow System Administrator or Developer certifications.

Experience with ServiceNow’s IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Business Management (ITBM), or HR modules.

Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
