Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service:

Greet customers warmly as they enter the store, providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Assist customers in selecting curtains, fabrics, and other home decor items based on their preferences, requirements, and style.

Provide information about products, such as fabric types, color options, sizes, and how to maintain them.

Offer personalized recommendations and solutions to meet customer needs.
2. Sales and Product Promotion:

Actively engage with customers to drive sales and promote curtain-related products and accessories.

Upsell and cross-sell related products, such as curtain rods, blinds, cushions, and home decor accessories.

Achieve or exceed sales targets set by the store manager or owner.
3. Store Organization and Maintenance:

Ensure that the store is neat, clean, and visually appealing by organizing and arranging products attractively.

Monitor stock levels and inform the store manager of low-stock items or popular products that need replenishment.

Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves and maintaining the store’s stockroom.
4. Product Knowledge:

Stay updated on the latest curtain trends, materials, and accessories to provide accurate product information to customers.

Learn about different types of fabrics, colors, textures, and their suitability for various environments (e.g., living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens).

Help customers with curtain measurements and fitting, ensuring they get the right size for their windows.
5. Order Handling and Payment:

Process customer orders, payments, and returns efficiently and accurately.

Assist with placing special orders for products that are not available in-store, ensuring customers’ needs are met.

Handle cash, credit card transactions, and provide customers with receipts.
6. Customer Follow-up:

Encourage repeat business by building a relationship with customers and following up on recent purchases.

Answer phone inquiries regarding product availability, store policies, and general information.
