Job Summary:

We are looking for a responsible and energetic Shop Keeper to manage daily operations of our electrical goods store. The candidate should be fluent in Hindi and Telugu, have basic writing skills in English, and be able to handle sales, customer interaction, stock management, and record-keeping. Some prior knowledge of electrical goods like switches, wires, fans, lights, etc., is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Service:

• Greet customers and assist them in selecting electrical products

• Provide product information clearly in Hindi or Telugu

• Suggest alternatives and upsell based on customer needs

• Issue bills and collect payments (cash, UPI, or card)

Stock & Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate stock records (manual or Excel-based)

• Handle purchase entries, sale records, and maintain daily sales register

• Assist in receiving, checking, and arranging inventory on shelves

• Inform owner/manager about stock shortages or reordering needs

Store Operations:

• Keep the shop clean, organized, and ready for business

• Open and close the store on time

• Ensure safety and proper handling of all electrical goods

• Coordinate with electricians, suppliers, or local vendors if needed

Eligibility Criteria:

• Education: No specific education required

• Languages: Must speak Hindi and Telugu, and write basic English

• Experience in handling a retail shop or electrical goods is preferred

• Basic understanding of billing and inventory

• Local candidates preferred or those familiar with nearby areas

Required Skills:

• Good communication and polite customer handling
