Job Description
- Should guide store visitors and sell the products.
- Responsible for all stores functions.
- Shall be responsible for maintaining all store records.
- Preparation of stocks statements.
- Preparation of Purchase Orders.
- Day to day issues and receipts, ledgers, stock statement reports and DMR
- Preparation of Daily & Monthly Consumption Report.
- Checking of received Material with invoice and purchase order.
Required Skills:
- Should have computer Knowledge
- Good listening, presentation and decision making skills
Key Responsibilities

Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly as they enter the shop. Assist customers with product selection, answer their questions, and provide product recommendations when needed. Handle any customer complaints or concerns politely and professionally. -
Sales and Transactions:
Operate the cash register or POS system to complete purchases. Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and provide accurate change. Issue receipts and manage daily cash reconciliation. -
Stock Management:
Keep track of inventory levels. Receive new stock, unpack deliveries, check for damaged items, and restock shelves accordingly. Ensure that popular or fast-moving items are always available. -
Merchandising and Display:
Arrange products in an attractive and orderly manner to promote sales. Create promotional displays or seasonal setups to catch customer attention. Ensure that all products are labeled with accurate prices. -
Shop Maintenance:
Maintain cleanliness and order throughout the store, including shelves, floors, counters, and storage areas. Keep the shop neat and welcoming at all times. -
Security:
Monitor for theft, ensure the safety of goods and cash, and follow store security procedures. Lock up the shop securely at the end of the day. -
Record Keeping:
Maintain records of sales, purchases, and stock. Update logs and databases manually or using software systems. Prepare daily or weekly reports as required by the store manager or owner. -
Supplier Coordination:
Communicate with vendors and suppliers for restocking and orders. Compare prices, negotiate better deals, and ensure timely delivery of goods. -
Promotions and Offers:
Inform customers about ongoing promotions or discounts. Ensure promotional materials are displayed clearly in the shop. -
Basic Administration:
Answer phone calls, take customer inquiries or orders (if applicable), and handle email or digital communication when required.
