Showroom Sales Officer (Male/ Female) with basic Computer Knowledge in MSWord/ Excel.
Degree/ Diploma / ITI is essential
Salary: 10000-30000+Perks based on Qualification & Experience
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Handling & Sales:

Greet walk-in customers professionally and understand their requirements through effective communication.

Demonstrate and explain the features, specifications, and benefits of generators, machinery, and tools.

Suggest suitable products based on customer needs, budget, and intended use.
-
Provide price quotations, payment terms, and warranty information transparently.
-
Convert walk-in and inquiry-based leads into successful sales orders.
-
Follow up with potential buyers who visit the showroom or make inquiries online/over the phone.
2. Product Knowledge & Demonstration:
-
Maintain in-depth knowledge of the entire product range including diesel/petrol generators, cutting/drilling tools, compressors, pumps, industrial machinery, and accessories.

Stay updated on new product launches, technical specifications, and usage guidelines.

Perform basic product demonstrations (if required) to highlight ease of use or operational safety.
3. Showroom Management & Display:
-
Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and appealing to customers at all times.

Arrange products in a manner that enhances visibility and encourages customer interest.
-
Replenish stock in display areas and coordinate with the store or inventory team for stock updates.

Handle minor showroom equipment maintenance or raise requests when necessary.
4. Documentation & Billing:

Prepare customer quotations, proforma invoices, and sales orders accurately.

Coordinate with the billing team or use POS systems to process transactions.

Ensure proper filing of customer records, product warranty documents, and payment receipts.

Maintain logbooks or databases for showroom visits and inquiries.
5. Coordination with Service and Delivery Teams:
-
Liaise with the service and installation department for generator setup or machinery commissioning.

Track and follow up on delivery schedules and installation appointments.
-
Resolve customer complaints or service-related issues by directing them to the correct department.
6. Target Achievement & Reporting:
-
Work to achieve monthly and quarterly showroom sales targets.

Prepare daily sales reports, customer inquiry records, and footfall metrics.

Report competitor activities, customer feedback, and demand trends to management.
7. Marketing and Promotions Support:
-
Assist with showroom-based promotional activities such as product launches, demo days, or discounts.

Provide input to marketing teams on customer preferences and frequently asked questions.

Distribute product brochures, leaflets, or catalogues to visitors and customers.
