Job Opening: Site Engineer - Interior Works - Civil and Fabrication
Location: Chandigarh, India
Project Location: Chandigarh, India
Job Type: On-site, 6 days a week (9 AM – 6 PM, with extended hours as required)
Qualification: Civil Engineer / Diploma in Architecture / Architect
Experience: 2–3 years in interior construction, civil, and fabrication works
Job Responsibilities:
• Oversee on-site execution of interior, civil, and fabrication works, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Strong technical detailing skills in false ceilings, carpentry, paneling, tiling, painting, sealing, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fabrication.
• Ensure proper alignment, finishing, and installation quality as per design specifications.
• Manage and guide labor teams, maintaining discipline and efficiency while fostering teamwork.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors and labor teams to ensure smooth workflow and flexibility when needed.
• Coordinate with project managers, senior project managers, and architects for approvals and design clarifications.
• Monitor and verify work progress, ensuring adherence to approved designs and material standards.
• Report regularly to the Project Manager and senior management on work status, challenges, and solutions.
Skills & Requirements:
• Strong technical and detailing knowledge of interior construction and fabrication.
• Ability to manage people effectively while maintaining high-quality work standards.
• Good coordination skills for design approvals, vendor management, and site execution.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality craftsmanship.
Salary: Based on experience, interview performance, and skill test. Compensation for extended hours will be provided.
